XSR700/MT07 SLIMLINE BUCKET HEADLIGHT CONVERSION (2014-2020)
Our Kelpi 7” Headlight Conversion Kit is designed to be plug and play for the XSR700 (2016-2021), but appears to be getting used on just as many MT07s by clever clients who have had enough of the stock styling.
The kit is ideal for taking the “transformer” headlight away from the MT07, or replacing the overly long and bulky XSR700 stock headlight bucket with a higher performing, slimline LED headlight that sits closer to the frame.
Whilst designed for the Yamaha XSR700 models, this headlight conversion kit works on all bikes running 41mm traditional forks, and can also be modified to fit other bikes with 45-54mm upper fork tubes with larger brackets that we can supply on request.
What’s In the Box
A custom headlight conversion can do many things. The most obvious advantage is generally increased vision and presence, but when done thoughtfully, they’re able to place less stress on your charging system, reduce weight and change up the visual aesthetic of your front end as well. With our headlight conversion kit, we’ve included a headlight bucket, adjustable position mounting brackets, fastening hardware and our 7” Clearway headlight unit.
We’ve taken any guess work out of the equation, providing everything you need to simply remove your old headlight and brackets and replace it all with this kit. It also comes with mounts to take any M8 or M10 indicators, and the kit pairs nicely with our Blindsider indicators.

Headlight Relay Requirements
The wiring for this setup is plug and play for all standard H4 headlight connector models (2016-2021 XSR700). For the later model XSR700 and MT07, which use LED headlights via a 6 pin connector, an external headlight relay / lighting module is required to provide enough power to the headlight unit. You will need to source one independently.
Fork Covers
Additionally, some versions of the XSR700/MT07 come with upper fork covers. Please check the diameter of your upper forks (between the two triple clamps) if you are unsure. If they are wider than 41mm, we will send you a larger bracket kit to accommodate the covers.
